![]() ![]() There is a way on Steam to create some special keys to hidden DLCs of the game (they are not shown in the shop and can't be bought by people somewhere) which just add some defined features to a game. There is also a possibility to solve the issue with the buyers of the premium or contributor edition on Steam if they differ from the THH-edition. This isn't a very nice solution and it will be impossible for all coming buyers to upgrade the version if they want to do so later. If not they have to offer refunds for all buyers so far who wanted the THH-version or find another way to upgrade the version but this will result in a lose of their game progression so far. This would solve the problem for all people who preordered the core version with the intention of upgrading in later to the THH-version due to the lack of the availability of the THH-version untill today. On this shop site you can buy the core game, buy an upgrade for the THH-Edition for 10 Euro if you own the core game (this can be implemented in 2 ways: either just as a DLC or more highlighted as an separate option and all coming DLCs will be listed seperatly with an option to buy like in every game with additional DLCs. In Steam this would end up like this: There is just the game "Valhalla Hills" with a shop page. From this point on the THH-Edition just includes the other goodies anymore. ![]() If this might cause a problem with the planned DLCs (DLCs will be more expensive than the upgrade option) they should be able limit the season pass in the THH-Edition for a certain period of time untill one or both DLCs are released.
